Booking and payment
Bookings require full payment in advance: you pay the entire amount at once. The hotel confirms the booking, and we arrange the contract, voucher and insurance.
Why we do things this way
My name is Lev, and I founded R-U Travel. I spent twenty years travelling and working in tourism, personally experiencing thousands of hotels. The agency grew out of that experience: we describe hotels through what we have seen ourselves, rather than through a brochure.
We do not sell the whole world. In every destination on this page, we have hotels we know personally and direct agreements with them. Your expert can therefore say honestly where is best in your chosen month and explain the differences between hotels from experience.
I want each of our guests to be treated as I would wish to be treated: without fuss, with attention to details you notice only when they are missing. I personally take responsibility for keeping the agreed proposal unchanged, and for ensuring that, whenever you have a question, someone who knows your trip answers it.

Common questions before your trip
How do I choose a destination?
Start with the month and who is travelling: this page shows which destinations are in season in your chosen month, and which are in shoulder or low season with lower prices. If you are choosing between two destinations, message your expert. We will send options in both and explain the differences in weather, journey and price.
Where is a visa required?
A brief overview by destination. Details, timing and pre-departure forms are on each destination’s page; your expert will remind you about documents before the trip.
- The Maldives: visa on arrival for up to 30 days
- The Seychelles: visa-free, with online travel authorisation before departure
- UAE: visa-free for up to 90 days
- Thailand: visa-free for up to 30 days
- Bali: visa on arrival for 30 days

What if my preferred hotel is not in the selection?
We can also select hotels outside this collection. This page features those we know personally and work with under direct agreements, but we have more options in each destination.
Why are your prices lower?
We have direct agreements with hotels and work without intermediaries. We also obtain guest privileges that hotels do not offer for independent bookings.
Can I pay from a company bank account?
Yes. We work with both individuals and legal entities and provide a full set of documents.
